The online ENG 301 class is meant to teach writing skills needed in the professional world.  The class instructs students on the proper technique for writing memos, letters, discursive manuals, proposals and designing effective web pages.  These skills are taught through a combination of assigned textbook readings, posted lectures, discussion boards, peer interaction and assigned projects. 

In order to better the class, a few changes are needed.  By implementing a new textbook and introducing a technical writing project students would be bettered prepared for writing in the professional world.  This analysis will demonstrate why improvement is needed, what steps will be completed to improve the class, the costs of these improvements and a timeline for the suggested changes.
